Context

According to the Ministry of Health's Indonesia Nutritional Status Study (SSGI) in 2021, 5.33 million toddlers, or 24.4%, suffered from stunting. In 2022, it is projected to reach 21.6%, with the government targeting a reduction to 14% by the end of 2024.

Stunting, a developmental disorder caused by malnutrition and recurrent infections, affects a child's growth in the first 1000 days of life. Research with 73 respondents revealed key factors, including a lack of parental understanding, limited support for pregnant mothers, and low economic conditions.

Stuntion is an Android-based application with technology for prevention, treatment, and education of stunting. We believe that Stuntion can contribute to reducing stunting prevalence in Indonesia and globally, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals 3 'Good Health and Well-Being' and 4 'Quality Education.'"
